Type: Special Project

During the summer of 2015, this special project traveled to public locations all over Chicago and engaged passersby in a creative “classroom” experience.

Chicago students read the book and witnessed the performance by Mona Golabek, whose story of how music helped her mother survive the Holocaust moved and inspired them.
