Chicago students read the book and witnessed the performance by Mona Golabek, whose story of how music helped her mother survive the Holocaust moved and inspired them.

This March 2015 matinee program introduced Chicago students to contemporary dance with performances by four Urban Gateways touring groups at Columbia College’s beautiful Dance Center.
