Shari Runner has been on the Urban Gateways Board of Directors since 2010; she has served as Board Chair and on both the Board Governance and Resource Development Committees. She is the President and CEO of The Humanity Institute, and is the daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Runner, one of the founders of Urban Gateways. She was COO for the Center for Urban School Improvement at the University of Chicago, Director of SRC Consultants in Chicago, and President and CEO of Chicago Urban League.
