Rhonda Hawkins-Lyke

Board Member

Born and raised in Chicago and a product of Chicago Public Schools, Rhonda has been a Family Law attorney for 30 years, with a focus on at risk youth, family preservation and juvenile justice.  She’s taught law, government and social justice at various colleges and universities for the past 20 years. Rhonda is a mother of two young adults, a recent college and a recent high school graduate.  She has served on the Board of Directors for the SouthSide YMCA, Bronzeville YMCA and Project Higher Ed.  Rhonda is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Jack and Jill of America Incorporated, The American Bar Association, Cook County Bar Association and National Association of Black Prosecutors. She’s former dancer and an avid traveler with the goal of traveling to 55 countries before her 55th birthday!!
