In honor of the National Guild of Community Arts Education Conference held in Chicago the first weekend of November, WBEZ’s “Afternoon Shift” invited Urban Gateways’ executive director, Eric Delli Bovi, to participate in an arts education panel November 1. The panel discussed Chicago’s new Cultural Plan, how arts education is faring in Chicago schools, and the significance of hosting this year’s National Guild Conference.
