On June 8, WTTW (Chicago Channel 11) aired a segment featuring hair braiding artist Mo G and shining a light on Urban Gateways’ ART & Speaker Series, which included Mo G in its first segment, ART & Storytelling on February 10. During the WTTW segment, Mo G speaks to the historical significance of hair braiding and its growing recognition as an art form; Urban Gateways Executive Director Eric Delli Bovi also appears in the segment discussing the arts as a tool to disrupt the status quo and encourage new perspectives.
