We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well!
Thanks for checking in on us. With schools and community spaces closed due to the spread of COVID-19, we are saddened that we have been unable to share in-person arts programs with young people at a time when they likely need inspiration the most. However, we are pivoting and adapting. New virtual arts learning and performance programs are underway with school and community partners; Street Level youth are hosting live performances on Instagram Live, working on film projects, and staying connected with staff and with each other; and Teen Arts Pass is keeping teens connected with virtual opportunities from our arts partners.
Still, due to the loss in program revenue as well as the cancellation of fundraising events, it has been a challenging year.
We appreciate your support as we continue to engage young people in virtual arts programs. Not only do the arts allow us to create, but they encourage us to heal, hope, and envision a brighter world and a more equitable future. Young people deserve the opportunity to engage in the arts now more than ever.
