Inspired by the challenges and triumphs of the children they have taught, Animal Farm’s songs explore themes of social and emotional learning, community, and self-expression through the eyes of our furry, feathered, scaly, and shell-dwelling friends. Blending original music, educational comedy, and interactive storytelling, Animal Farm has performed their energetic live stage show for thousands of children and families in schools, parks, libraries, museums, and other cultural institutions throughout Illinois, including Navy Pier, the Field Museum, Garfield Park Conservatory, Chicago Botanic Garden, and many more. Available to perform as a duo or quartet, they offer multiple pricing options to fit your budget. Their recently released album, We Are One, won a 2018 National Parenting Product Award and Parents Choice Recommended Award, and was supported in part by a City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events Artist Grant.
“It was such a pleasure having Animal Farm perform at The Field Museum! Kids and adults alike all enjoyed the music – all of the band members were super friendly and engaging to families, and the music was really catchy and fun. Before the performance, working with the band to plan the event was a breeze. I’d highly recommend working with Animal Farm!” -Alyssa, The Field Museum
“With verve, whimsy, and endless patience, the musicians of Animal Farm know how to engage a crowd of young children and their caregivers with delightful songs that encourage singing along, creative participation, and joyful dancing. Their keen understanding of child development and passion for literacy is expressed in every song they share. I highly recommend other libraries invite Animal Farm to bring their community in to sing and dance. It is truly fun for the whole family!” -Eti, Lincolnwood Public Library
