We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and well!
Thanks for checking in on us. With schools and community spaces closed due to the spread of COVID-19, we are saddened that we have been unable to share in-person arts programs with young people at a time when they likely need inspiration the most. However, we are pivoting and adapting. We are kicking off new virtual arts learning and performance programs; Street Level youth are hosting live performances on Instagram Live, working on film projects, and staying connected with staff and with each other; and Teen Arts Pass is hosting its TAPtalks series twice a week on Instagram Live, as well as keeping teens connected with virtual opportunities form our arts partners. Urban Gateways and Teen Arts Pass will also host a Virtual Teen Arts Leadership Summit on Saturday, June 27.
Still, due to the loss in program revenue as well as the cancellation of our annual fundraising Gala in April, it has been a challenging spring.
In this section you’ll find ways you can support our work during the pandemic. Keep checking back as we will continue to add more opportunities. For now – check out our On-Demand Art for All Gala!
We appreciate your support as we continue to engage young people in arts programs that encourage them to create, heal, and hope.
