Today and tomorrow, the Chicago Principals and Administrators Association conference is in full swing downtown. And we’re thrilled to be there! Today we’re hanging out and sharing info about our programs; tomorrow, we are presenting a panel discussion titled “Innovation Through Arts Partnerships“, matching the conference’s overall theme of “Unleashing Innovation.” Innovation is key in our work and we’re excited to see it emphasized by CPAA.
Eric, our Executive Director, will be there tomorrow with representatives from Greeley Elementary, a Lakeview school where we’ve enjoyed a deep and inspiring partnership. Here’s the scoop:

Looking for ways to improve and expand arts learning in your school? Explore the essential ingredients for developing and sustaining long-term arts programs and partnerships, such as in-school and out-of-school content and delivery, Common Core alignment and assessment, and the dynamics of working with nonprofit arts providers. Join Urban Gateways to exchange ideas and resources through a panel discussion with staff and faculty from the Horace Greeley Elementary School and Urban Gateways as they describe and reflect on their partnership of over 15 years.
Learn more about our programs at Greeley: A community gardening artist residency and a summertime art festival! Just a few examples of the work we do at this school.
Check in next week for reflections on our CPAA panel discussion!
