Night Out in the Parks: the Birthplace of Rhythm

August 5, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 7:10 pm

Adams Playground Park

Come out to Adams Park for a night to remember with Pulse Beat Music Chicago – their second to last Night Out in the Parks event of the summer! Journey across the globe and explore the histories and sounds of rhythms from the Middle East, Africa, Brazil, the Caribbean, Europe, and more. The performers are accomplished drummers and seasoned travelers who have studied music all over the world. Come experience Pulse Beat Music Chicago for yourself – and get in on the rhythm-making action in their participatory finale.

This FREE show is presented in partnership with the Chicago Park District as part of its Night Out in the Parks program. All Night Out in the Parks performances are family-friendly, free, open to the public, and will take place outdoors (weather permitting).
