
Anna Warner is a native Chicagoan born raised in the historic south side neighborhood of Hyde Park. The importance of arts and education was instilled in her from a young age by her grandmother and one of Urban Gateways’ founders, Jessie Woods. Anna spent most of her youth attending art galas, symphonies and museums with her grandmother, growing her passion for the arts. Upon graduating high school, Anna joined the United States Army where she served with numerous units and participated in multiple deployments. Since leaving the military, Anna has been working as an IT Consultant for the government. Anna currently works as a Sr. Analyst with LMI for the Headquarters Department of the Army G-4 located at the Pentagon. Anna and her husband continue the family legacy of supporting art and education by serving as donors and volunteers for military youth organizations.
