Teen Advisory Council applications are now open for 2020-2021! Apply here by October 5 >>

This year we’re trying something new; we’re combining the Teen Arts Pass Teen Council and the Teen Arts Leadership Summit Advisory Committee to create ONE awesome group of young leaders that will serve as the youth voice for teen-centric programming at Urban Gateways (including TAP + TALS!).

The Council is responsible for ensuring these programs best serve Chicago area teens by providing program and partner feedback, planning teen events, creating recruitment strategies and promotional materials, and more.

** Note: For teens who were previously interested in the 2020-21 TAP Teen Council, this is the place to be – we hope you’ll apply for the Teen Advisory Council!

The 2020-21 Teen Advisory Council will meet virtually twice a month on Tuesdays at 4pm Central (75-90 minute meetings), beginning October 27, 2020, and going through June 2021. All meetings will take place virtually for the foreseeable future. Applicants should live in Cook County and be at minimum 13 years of age or at maximum 19 years of age at the start of the programming (October 27th, 2020). Teens will be given a stipend for their time and contributions.

Contact Lisa at [email protected] with any questions about the council or how to apply.

Applications are due Monday, October 5 by 5pm CST.
