Traditional Mexican music and dance is a vibrant blend of many different cultures. Come along with the musicians and dancers of Tarima Son as they explore the Indigenous, African, and Spanish influences on the rhythms, movement, and melodies of Mexico. The audience will enjoy the collection of songs that evoke passages of the Mexican Revolution, the Day of the Dead, and Cinco de Mayo. This lively, interactive performance featuring authentic instruments and dance engages audiences of all ages with energetic renditions of traditional music, and even a familiar melody that the students and teachers will all recognize and love.
This program is appropriate for Hispanic Heritage Month, Day of the Dead, Black History Month, Thanksgiving, Mexican Independence, 5 de mayo, and more!

- Six microphones with stands preferred, minimum of 3 required
- One amplifier with 6 channels
- Two monitors (speakers facing the stage)
