Kimberly Baker

Kimberly Baker is a dancer, choreographer, and arts educator living in Chicago. As a dancer, she has worked with think/dance collective, Alliance Dance Company, Innervation Dance Cooperative, IDC Speaks, Core Project Chicago, Renegade Dance Architects, Tiffany Lawson Dance, and Shmib. She has worked with independent choreographers Charlique C Rolle, Christine Hands, Cheryl Cavey, Bonnie Christine Willis, and Catherine Tiso, showing works in both Chicago and New York. As a choreographer, Kimberly has shown work at Ruth Page Center for the Arts, Harold Washington Library, Theater Wit, Raven Theatre, Fasseas Whitebox Theater, Union League Club, Collaboraction, and The Call. Kimberly is a teaching artist with Urban Gateways specializing in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, ballroom, musical theater, hip hop, and improvisation. She also teaches with Design Dance, Sheppard Middle School, and Deerfield Family Theater.
