Making music, with a mission
NBC Nightly News w/ Brian Williams - This news segment features MusicianCorps - the national “musical Peace Corps” that was piloted in 2009-10 in four cities nationwide including Chicago. Urban Gateways partnered with MusicianCorps to bring six fellows to Chicago and managed the program locally. The piece features Chicago MusicianCorps fellows Cyndy Fike and Vernon Lloyd, and their students.
