Edgar Gabriel’s StringFusionSM includes some of the finest musicians in Chicago: bassist Maurice Houston, guitarist Steve Doyle, pianist Fred Simon, drummer/percussionists Ben Johnson or Inderjeet Sidhu, saxophonist Michael Levin and electric violinist Edgar Gabriel. This world-class ensemble performs multi-genre music including jazz, rock, blues, classical, Latin and more. Since their creation in 2005, they continually perform concerts for diverse audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Their latest CD “Not Radio Material”, of original material is currently receiving airplay on radio stations in six continents. StringFusion’s mission is to bring people together through music by performing music of varied cultures and eras; and to entertain, enlighten and inspire audiences throughout the world. This String Groove program is the educational show created by StringFusion to entertain students, however, if they’re not careful, they may just learn something
